Microsoft debuted the KIN One and Two, social networking feature phones targeted to teenagers and young adults, in May 2010. The KIN Help sites acted as dynamic manuals and guides for those devices.
Both sites used Sharepoint 2007 to allow for easy content changes without the need for new builds or deployments. The mobile site, built with .Net MVC, got its content from a Sharepoint list, while the large-screen site had a more complex Sharepoint field mode.
I was responsible for the front end code development on both sites, including creating HTML templates and integrating Sharepoint field editing functionality, and building JavaScript and .Net server controls for shared modules. I was also able to do some code-behind/controller work, including modifying the site navigation behavior.
